Dass das aktuelle Urheberrechtssystem weder fair noch zeitgemäß ist wissen vermutlich alle Beteiligten. Es ist traurig, dass aber die Abhängigkeiten so stark ausgeprägt sind, dass nur wenige nicht bereits reiche Künstler sich dagegen aufzulehnen bereit sind.

“Die Frage ist immer: MUSS das öffentlich sein und wenn ja warum?” An diesem Satz zeigt sich eine der beiden möglichen Grundeinstellungen – aus meiner Sicht heraus jedoch genau die falsche: Ist (1) das Standard-Prinzip Transparenz, muss also eine geschlossene Sitzung gerechtfertigt werden, oder ist (2) vielmehr Verschlossenheit die default option, gegen die ich argumentativ ein transparentes Verfahren durchsetzen muss?
So wie zitiert, impliziert der Satz dass Option 2 zuträfe. Die Piratenpartei hat sich jedoch als einzige der im Abgeordnetenhaus vertretenen Parteien klar für Ersteres ausgesprochen, indem Transparenz zu einem zentralen Wahlkampf-Argument gemacht wurde.
Damit stelt sich die Frage nach dem Rechtfertigungsdruck. Standardmäßig müsste die Begründung für eine Abweichung vom status quo, also der transparenten/öffentlichen Sitzung, von denjenigen vorgenommen werden, die eine nichtöffentliche Sitzung abhalten wollen, und nicht umgekehrt.
Als Ergebnis kann dann immer noch herauskommen, dass man aus welchen guten Gründen auch immer (Persönlichkeitsschutz etwa bei Bewerbungsgesprächen) auf Öffentlichkeit verzichtet. Transparenz ist ja kein Selbstzweck und von vornherein jedem anderen Gut überlegen. Doch als Grundeinstellung muss sie allemal verankert sein. Ich würde z.B. von den Piraten erwarten, wenn sie jemals in Koalitionsverhandlungen einträten, dass sie dies öffentlich täten – und nicht wie derzeit bei SPD und Grünen hinter verschlossenen Türen beraten und hinterher ihre je eigenen Interpretationen des Gesagten unter die Leute bringen bzw. manches auch gar nicht nach außen dringt.

I hate Skype because they killed Fring support (or all 3rd party support?). The Skype client is bloated and shitty, if they let us choose our own then they might not be so hated.

Google Voice should come around (the rest of the world) at some point and at least offer a mainstream alternative.

have you checked the bandwidth that skype uses ? i have played online games for many years useing teamspeack ,ventrillo ( do a free servce for up to 6 user confrence call)
some freinds started to use skype so i joined them (baaaah in a sheepy voice:)
i had no problems at all intill i realised that from my 300mb for a 10 hour playing sesion with vent or team it had esculated to a whoooooping 1 gb,
so you say it isnt hungry ? this is all can be proven just check it out this was the avarge for the 10 hours i dont know if the same rate is applicable for shorter calls ? also i did notice lagg on my network not always with the comp useing skype at the time ( i know of parents that moan when there nippers on skype also so this is not a one of)
i dont work for anyone like mr joerg, i dont run a massive company unlike joerg who from what i read here and almost anywere there is a voice against sky in any form there seems to be a mass spewing of dirge to undermine the the individuals veiw point

clearly there is some unsavoiry actions going on for such a mass blanket miss information
cover by sky or relevent organistions

i know we all want the best but at what cost ?

if you want a choice you need to make a market for new companys not stick to your routines , ignorance is bliss till YOU get bit

ofc they will want to listen to you they use adverts and can sell this info on to goverment to cosmetics how many pies can u stick your fingers in before they get burnt
